HIS NAME IS JESUS

Salvation is through the work of Christ, and Christ alone. He went to the Cross for our sins, and it is by His shed blood alone, that we are saved. Jesus said, if you believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, you are (not will be) ... you ARE saved. However, let me add one thought to what is being said here:  To "believe" means more than just head knowledge. It means to cling to, trust in, rely upon. It means to belong ... it means your heart belongs to Him, and definitely, His heart belongs to you.  Jesus didn't say we have to go to a church building. He said, where two or three gather together in HIS NAME, there He is in their very midst. So christian fellowship is VERY important, but it can be done anywhere ... in the grocery store, on a street corner, on the telephone (I personally do alot of the phone thing, lol), just anywhere, and most important, it can, and should be, done "daily".
