Hi ... my name is Marcia.  As you visit this site, you'll find Bible study lessons and discipleship training, all of which are intended to encourage you in both becoming, and living, as Jesus' disciple. You'll also discover, we are a people of worship.  We encourage worship, all to the honor and glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Please allow me just a bit of your time, in order to share with you about this ministry. Locally, known as "Truth Ministries", the birthing of this ministry was on October 20th, 2002. We are located in the beautiful country of  North Idaho. We are both a local, and, an online fellowship of believers.  We continually share a very "blessed of the Lord" fellowship with the Lord, as well as with one another.

It is the desire of our hearts to encourage one another, to "Love the Lord with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind, and with all our strength" (Mark 12:30), and, as Jesus instructed, that we should "love one another" (1 John 3:11). It is our prayer, that as we fellowship online, together, that this same unity will flow, as it does within our local fellowship.  In God's word, He instructs His true worshipers, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him (John 4:23 KJV).  This is the very mandate, given by God, to His Name Is Jesus.org.  God has called us to follow His truth, by the power of His Holy Spirit, thus fulfilling His command, that we live our lives as an act of worship, daily, unto Him
(John 4:23-24).  

To your right, you'll find several links that cover subjects from Bible Treasures, to a Discipleship Course (living our lives from God's point of view), to the subject of Worship and Praise. There is also an Archives link (located at the bottom of each page) and an e-mail address on the "comments page" directing you to where you can send  your questions, comments and/or prayer requests.  Also, before you sign off, please stop by and sign the Guest Book. 

I'd now like to take a moment to say, if you have not yet come the know Jesus Christ, through a personal relationship with Him, and are desiring to do so, we are here to help. Please know that meeting Jesus in a personal way is not difficult. All that's required is a sincere heart, and a personal recognition that you need Him in your life. You might be asking yourself "So, why do I need Jesus"? Perhaps I can help you with this question. You see, we all need Jesus as our Savior, because it's through His sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, that we are saved (saved from the destruction of our very sin nature). The Word of God tells us there is only "one way" to enter into a relationship with our Heavenly Father (and to experience the promise of eternal life with Him), and that "one way" is through the acceptance of Jesus Christ, God's Son, into our hearts ..."Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). So, you may be asking yourself "What must I do to accept Him"? Perhaps I can help you with the answer to this question, as well. To "accept" Jesus Christ into your life means you must recognize your need of a Savior. You see, according to God's Word, we were all born into sin ... meaning we are sinners, in need of a Savior (Jesus Christ), who "sinned not", that we might be saved from our sins, through His perfect and complete sacrifice. As you learn more about Jesus, you'll discover through God's Word, that Jesus lived a pure and sinless life, required by God, that through the sacrifice of His death on the Cross for each of us, we might spend life "forever in His presence", through His resurrection power. That "forever" begins when you release the care of your life over to Jesus. Once you have done so, there is much you will learn about Jesus, but for now, in order for you to receive Jesus as your Savior, there are but a few things you need to know. You need to know that each of us fall short of a sin free life, and that we need Jesus as our Savior, and to meet Him in such a way is as simple as a "sincere prayer of the heart". If you're unsure of how to pray such a prayer, I'd be honored to help you do so. Please understand, prayer is simply "talking to Jesus", just as you would talk with a friend.  So, let's talk to Jesus from the heart ...

Dear Jesus, I need you. I've been living my life on my own, and it's just not working. I continue to fall short of living the life I'd really like to live ... a life that pleases You ... a life with You in it. I recognize that I am a sinner, in need of a Savior, and ask Jesus, that You would forgive me for all of my sins. I open the door of my heart to You, and invite You to come in. Jesus, I also ask that, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, You would help me live every day of my life, loving and serving You. Thank You Jesus for forgiving me, and for becoming my Savior. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Whether you've been in fellowship with Jesus for years, or you're a brand new believer, it is our desire to guide you, through Bible study and discipleship training, into the rich treasures of God's Word.  As we walk together, discovering God, through His Word, and as we enter into a deep, rich and meaningful relationship with Him, by the power of His Holy Spirit, may each of us become the very servant Jesus so desires us to be. Together, as we study God's Word, we will learn of God's great love towards us, and of His unending promises to all of us who believe.
